Verizon, the largest local phone service provider in the USA, offers a very wide range of products on their web site, as well as customer service functionality such as electronic bill view bill pay, and ordering. Their site is a key strategic tool to generate incremental revenues and reduce costs.
Verizon was anxious to have customers register online to take advantage of the site's functionality. WSO was hired as a usability consultant to help achieve that goal. We worked closely with the Marketing and Development teams to streamline the registration process and promote the simpler methods. Registrations improved by 70% per month as a result of the implementation.
