Tom heads Web Site Optimizers with a focus on delivering bottom-line results for customer websites, and creating the ability to measure and communicate those results clearly. In addition to overseeing the customer projects of WSO, Tom is a frequent speaker on Usability and Conversion Optimization at industry events.
With a BS degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, and an MBA from Southern Methodist University, Tom has been involved in online marketing since 1997. As a Product Manager for various online products in the late 90's and early 2000's, he became acutely aware of the importance of online marketing, usability, and the value of a website in a business's overall marketing plan.
In 2002, Tom formed Web Site Optimizers, primarily as a web development and SEO company with a focus on delivering superior customer service. Since then, Tom has seen the industry evolve, and has recognized a shift in the market from acquiring website traffic to gaining more value out of the visitors a site receives. As such he shifted focus of WSO away from SEO and development, and toward Usability and Conversion Optimization.
Today Tom leads Web Site Optimizers into this still-new era of online marketing, focusing on the user experience over traffic generation. He works with companies large and small, in many different industries to leverage their websites to achieve their marketing and business objectives.
Tom lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife and three kids. He claims to be the luckiest man in the world.
